Skirting board

The skirting board or baseboard is the coating that covers the lower part of a wall, covering the joint between it and the floor. Its function is to protect the wall when cleaning or from the presence of furniture as well as to cover any imperfections at the meeting point between the wall and the floor.

Fixed to the wall or doors,usually marble, granite, or terrazzo baseboards or skirting boards are the same as the flooror have a very close style in color, pattern, and texture.
